The winner, Lavender Hill Mob (GB), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Newmarket on 16 April 2024 where the colt finished ninth of thirteen runners, beaten by 11 ½ lengths.
It was noted that the representative of Michael Bell could offer no explanation for the colt’s improved form.
Lavender Hill Mob (GB) was routine tested.
Following the race, David Probert reported that Portsmouth (IRE), placed second, ran too freely.
