Over the final ½ furlong, the winner, Mamillius (GB), and Typhoon Ten (IRE), placed second, shifted left independently of each other and after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Mamillius (GB).
Following the race, David Probert reported that Latent Heat (IRE), placed sixth, reared as the stalls opened.
