Chris Hayes rode her in a four-way tight finish at the Curragh the last day and we decided to go for cheekpieces today. Billy said she enjoyed getting a bit of light and, as it worked out, was on the right side of the draw as she got a nice lead from Dun Na Sead who was quickly away. This is a lovely prize to win and these Premier Handicaps are hard won. It is nice for Con who bred her and it is a family he knows well. She has such a nice pedigree that there is nothing to be lost by looking for black-type and she could run in the Listed Abergwaun Stakes at Tipperary now. K J Condon, trainer

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the early stages of this race involving Kodi Red, ridden by D

McMonagle, unplaced, Harry's Hill (GB), ridden by M.W Hassett, unplaced, and Arnhem, ridden by N.M. Crosse, unplaced, where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. In his evidence D. McMonagle stated that his mount jumped well, stayed straight and got slight contact from behind

N.M. Crosse stated that his mount anticipated the start and jumped a little right but he felt he corrected him quickly. M.W. Hassett stated that his mount jumped well but that the gap in front of him closed quickly. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards did not apportion blame to any rider and they took no further action

J.A. Powell, rider of Mymomentintime (USA), trained by Miss Susan A Finn, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled during this race.
