The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Selective Power, trained by Edward Lynam, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal

Sorcha Woods, rider of Linus Larrabee, trained by Edward Lynam, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount was slowly away from the starting stalls

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Miss Hilary McLoughlin, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Macadam's Rock, placed first, as compared with its recent form. Martin Ferris, Authorised representative for Miss Hilary McLoughlin reported that S.M. Crosse, rider, was of the opinion that the animal may have resented the kickback here on the 16th November. The same rider felt that having ridden the animal wide here on the 12th December, he needed to come back in trip to seven furlongs when well beaten over one mile. Martin Ferris added that in his opinion, their charge ran a very good race here the last day when the winning margin was taken into account. He also commented that their charge raced off a rating of 60 tonight having dropped from 68 and furthermore the rider was a seven pound claimer. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards noted the content of the report.
