The winner, Arishka (IRE), appeared to show improved form, compared with its previous run at Chelmsford on 2 February 2019 where the filly finished ninth of nine, beaten 8 lengths.
Daniel Kubler’s representative’s explanation that the gelding benefited from the drop back in trip from 6f to 5f and had settled better on this occasion, was noted.
Arishka (IRE) was routine tested.
Following the race, Lewis Edmunds reported that Hanakotoba (USA), placed seventh, ran flat.
The Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the filly failed to reveal any abnormalities.
