Permission was given for Showmedemoney (IRE) to go to post early.
The Starter reported that Green Power (GB) refused to enter the stalls and was withdrawn at 13.

John Gallagher was informed that the gelding could not run until the day after passing a stalls test.
As it was the second occasion within the previous 12 months that Green Power (GB) had been reported, a further report within the same period would mean the gelding would be prevented from having a stalls test for 6 months.
An enquiry was held to consider interference in the final furlong involving Eligible (IRE), placed second, ridden by Joanna Mason and the winner Youarenotforgiven (GB), ridden by Ray Dawson.
Mason was suspended for 3 days for careless riding after allowing her mount to hang right-handed for a considerable distance without timely correction, carrying Youarenotforgiven (GB) markedly off its intended line.
The performance of Ron O (GB) which finished unplaced, was considered.
Les Eyre could offer no explanation for the gelding’s performance.
Following the race, Joanna Mason reported that Eligible (IRE), placed second, hung right and Dale Swift also reported that Harbour Vision (GB), placed fifth, hung right.
