Permission was given for Under The Twilight (GB) to wear a red hood to post and for Silver Samurai (GB) to wear a hood in the Parade Ring only.
Daniel Tudhope, the rider of Azano (GB), drawn 6, was slow to remove the blindfold.
After being interviewed and shown recordings of the incident, Tudhope’s explanation that Azano (GB) ducked its head causing the blind to be out of reach, therefore requiring a second attempt in order to successfully remove it was noted.
Following the race, Kieran Shoemark reported that Atrium (GB), placed sixth, was slowly away.
