L.T. McAteer, rider of Cash Or Crypto, trained by David Marnane, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stood in the stalls and refused to race

K.G. Kennedy, rider of May Night (GB), trained by S.M.Duffy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slow away and never picked up the bridle

N.M. Crosse, rider of Revenite (GB), trained by P.F.McEnery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran keen early

The Raceday Stewards interviewed David Marnane, trainer of Cash Or Crypto, concerning the conduct of this horse who refused to race. In his evidence, David Marnane stated that despite the animal's previous record on the track his charge showed no tendencies to be reluctant at home. He further added that the animal would not race for him again. Having viewed a recording of the start and considering the animal's previous record in this regard, the Raceday Stewards suspended Cash Or Crypto for 40 days in accordance with the provisions of Rule 14(iii)

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Cash Or Crypto, trained by David Marnane, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Adam Caffrey, rider of Dontspoilasale, concerning the fact that he appeared to move across before reaching the marker poles. Evidence was heard from Adam Caffrey who stated that all the riders on the inside took back so he proceeded to make the running while always being clear of the other runners

Having viewed the recording of the race and considered evidence from the rider. The Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Adam Caffrey was in breach of rule 211 and having considered his record in this regard the Raceday Stewards suspended Adam Caffrey for one raceday

The Raceday Stewards interviewed R.P. Whelan, rider of Reinforce, concerning the fact that he appeared to move across before reaching the marker poles. Evidence was heard from R.P. Whelan who stated that all the riders on the inside took back so he gradually moved across while always being clear of the other runners. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered evidence from the rider. The Raceday Stewards were satisfied that R.P

Whelan was in breach of rule 211 and having considered his record in this regard the Raceday Stewards suspended R.P. Whelan for one raceday

The Raceday Stewards interviewed J.J.G. Ryan, rider of Hero Of The Hour (GB), concerning the fact that he appeared to move across before reaching the marker poles. Evidence was heard from J.J.G. Ryan who stated that his mount jumped off smartly and he followed Mr Caffrey. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered evidence. The Raceday Stewards were satisfied that J.J.G. Ryan was in breach of rule 211 and having considered his record in this regard the Raceday Stewards suspended J.J.G. Ryan for one raceday.

An extended handicap for three years old and upwards (80 = 10st)
