Permission was given for Lordsbridge Boy (GB) to wear a red hood to the start.
The winner, Company Minx (IRE), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Windsor on the 12 April 2021 where the filly finished last of nine, beaten by 15½ lengths.
It was noted that J R Jenkins could offer no explanation for Company Minx (IRE)’s improved form on this occasion.
Following the race, Molly Presland reported that Lilkian (GB), which finished last of the ten runners, beaten by 55¼ lengths, stumbled approaching 2 furlongs out and the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the gelding failed to reveal any abnormalities.
