Approaching the final furlong, the winner, Cliff Wind (GB), shifted right whilst racing greenly and briefly hampered a weakening Bee Magic (IRE), unplaced, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Cliff Wind (GB).
Following the race, Hollie Doyle reported that Bee Magic (IRE), unplaced, hung right and stopped quickly and William Muir reported that the gelding had lost its left fore shoe.
Silvestre De Sousa reported that Lightning Blue (GB), unplaced, hung right and had no more to give.
