Formscan By Alan Magee - The father and son combination of Gerry and Colin Keane enjoyed a notable success at the Curragh on Friday when Laughifuwant landed the Cambridgeshire, and they have good prospects of collecting again here with MEAN FOMHAIR . The full-sister to Irish 1,000 Guineas winner Jet Setting has not been the easiest to train but relishes soft ground and was impressive when landing a gamble over this course and distance 12 months ago. She ran a cracker on her belated reappearance here less than a fortnight ago when narrowly denied by Rocket Science, and that should leave her spot on for this. Topweight Royal Canford and Talking Tough both won on soft ground at the Galway Festival, while Zephron and course and distance winner Vormir have also been on the mark recently.
An extended handicap for three years old and upwards (90 = 10st)
Weights - Top weight in the original handicap and after the time of declaration shall not be less than 10st and the minimum weight is 8st 6lbs
Penalties - (after calculation of the handicap) A winner shall carry 6lb extra for each race won.
