< Potters Point had too many guns for his five rivals when comfortably landing the feature race at Tramore, the EY Chase, for trainer Gordon Elliott and Davy Russell.
The 6-4 market leader jumped well throughout as he sat behind leader Marinero in the early exchanges before taking over travelling powerfully with four fences to jump.
Despite facing a stern challenge from Bentelimar before the second-last, Potters Point always had matters under control and he put the race to bed with a slick jump at the last before pulling eight lengths clear on the run-in.
Elliott was to taste further success later on the card as Canny Tom (6-1) claimed a much-deserved first career triumph in the Olde Forge Maiden Hurdle.
