< Captain Cee Bee rolled back the years with a superb performance to take the Friends Of Tipperary Hurdle at Tipperary.
Winner of the Supreme Novices' Hurdle at Cheltenham in 2008, the Eddie Harty-trained 11-year-old had finished behind Rebel Fitz on his last two runs and the same horse looked the big danger as the pair turned into the straight.
But it was Captain Cee Bee (9-1) who produced the turn of foot between the final two flights as Mark Walsh sent him clear to beat the odds-on favourite by 11 lengths in the Grade Two contest.
Oliver McKiernan's prolific winner Whatever Jacksays made full use of his stamina to demolish the opposition in the Grade Three Dolores Purcell Memorial Novice Hurdle.
Robbie Colgan sent the 4-7 favourite into a clear lead and though Passage Vendome crept closer on the turn towards the straight, he could never get near enough to pose a threat and went down by 20 lengths.
The Peter Fahey-trained Pride Of The Artic (4-1) would not be denied as he landed an all-the-way victory in the Grade Three www.thetote.com Like A Butterfly Novice Chase, holding off Jacksonslady by a length under Andrew Leigh.
John Ryan's high-class chaser Foildubh (3-1 favourite) made full use of his hurdles mark as he also led all the way under Paul Carberry to take the Woodlands Hotel Adare Handicap Hurdle by two lengths.
The big race on the Flat section of the card was the Coolmore Stud Home Of Champions Concorde Stakes, in which Yellow Rosebud turned the tables on Lady Wingshot after two defeats by Jim Bolger's filly in August.
Pat Smullen came wide on to the stands rail on the Dermot Weld-trained winner (evens favourite), who led a quarter of a mile out and saw off her main rival before forging clear to win the Group Three contest by three lengths.
