< Retour En France was all the rage for the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Mares Beginners Chase but had to play second fiddle to Presenting Mahler whose victory started a Sligo treble for John Ryan and Danny Mullins.
Ruby Walsh was allowed to dictate terms to suit himself on the 1-3 favourite, who was still apparently full of running turning for home.
Presenting Mahler (11-2) was working hard to keep tabs on the French import but was still in touch jumping the last and found more after it to get the verdict by a head.
Ryan and Mullins doubled up when Draycott Place came out of the Joe Henry Memorial Handicap Chase on top.
The 13-8 favourite took the lead off The Black Russian on the long run to the final fence and cleared it well en route to a 13-length triumph from Sean Airgead
The three-timer was completed by Willow Grange (6-5 favourite) in the Why Not Sponsor A Race At Sligo Races In 2017 Handicap Chase.
Just five days on from an unfortunate Downpatrick experience, Vinnie Luck banished that to the memory by landing the Frank O'Beirne Memorial Beginners Chase.
The 4-7 favourite, who slipped up over hurdles last week, made much of his own running and fended off Antiphony by four and a half lengths.
That kickstarted a brace for rider Jonathan Burke, who went on to claim the Kilcawley Construction Chase on 9-10 favourite Sizing Coal
The Jim Dreaper-trained eight-year-old asserted his authority at the last and accounted for long-time leader Another Rebel by six and a half lengths.< Riviera Sun (11-4) hadn't shown much in four previous starts over the bigger obstacles but, as a consequence, went handicapping in the Sligo Park Hotel Novice Handicap Chase off a mark 14lb lower than his timber figure and capitalised by three lengths from Galboystown Lady < Grange Hall (28-1) overcame a year-long absence to win the Sligo Races Supporters Club Beginners Chase.
