Red Stars and Declan McDonogh lead them home

< Red Stars showed plenty of improvement for the step up to a mile and a half to land the Listed Lenebane Stakes at Roscommon.
John Oxx's 7-1 chance looked to have a bit to find on form, but was well placed throughout by Declan McDonogh and pulled into a clear lead inside the final two furlongs.< Chemical Charge gave the strongest chase in the closing stages, but Red Stars was not to be denied, pulling two and a quarter lengths clear at the line.< Savannah Storm confirmed the promise of his Curragh debut when sauntering to victory in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden over 10 furlongs.
Ger Lyons' 4-9 favourite moved easily into the lead just after the two furlong pole and pulled well clear under Colin Keane, beating Orillion by 11 lengths.< Randall Stevens turned the tables on old foe Sir Edwin Landseer in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden.
The latter had got the better of the argument when they met at Gowran and cut out most of the running, but Pat Smullen drove Michael O'Callaghan's Randall Stevens (4-1) into the lead close home and still had enough left to hold off the fast finish of Brutal by a neck.< Ibergman bounced back to form with a battling display to land the Property Partners Earley Auctioneers Fillies And Mares Handicap.
Ronan Whelan was happy to take up the running a long way out on Sheila Lavery's 11-2 chance, and she kept finding more for pressure to hold off Jackie Ellis by half a length.
Gary Halpin drove the Augustine Leahy-trained Ecoeye (11-4) home to take the Supervalu's Roscommon Apprentice Handicap.< Arya Tara (9-4) made light work of a 10lb rise in the handicap to complete a hat-trick in the Roscommon Herald Handicap for trainer Joseph O'Brien and his sister Ana, who has been in the plate for all three successes.
