< Glenwood For Ever s success in the Belvedere House, Gardens & Park Handicap Chase was the highlight of a Kilbeggan double for Rachael Blackmore.
The 7lb claimer tracked the pace on the 12-1 chance and made her move approaching the third-last fence.
Along with the front-running Kilcrea Glenwood For Ever established a gap on the rest but he was travelling much the stronger and came home well to cross the line with three lengths in hand of the staying-on Down Under
Blackmore's brace was initiated when Jaime Sommers (5-2) landed a gamble in the Tullamore Maiden Hurdle< Be The Hero denied two better fancied stable companions in the Follow Kilbeggan Racecourse On Twitter Novice Hurdle.
Gordon Elliott's 5-1 chance was passed over by Bryan Cooper in favour of fellow Gigginstown House Stud runner Crest but he saw off that rival by four lengths in the hands of Jack Kennedy, with their odds-on stablemate Hard To Call only third.< Delegate (5-4 favourite) has had plenty of opportunities but set the standard in the Kinnegad Maiden Hurdle and registered a comfortable two-and-a-quarter-length victory for Elliott and Cooper.< Heron Heights (12-1) showed improvement for the switch to fences to land the Westmeath Beginners Chase.
Henry de Bromhead's charge didn't show much over timber but did win a point-to-point and appeared much more at home at this discipline on his way to seeing off The Herds Garden by six lengths.< Flaviana made it two win from as many visits to this venue in the Like Kilbeggan Racecourse On Facebook Handicap Hurdle.
Jessie Harrington's 6-1 shot struck here last month before coming up short at the Punchestown Festival, and found this a more suitable assignment as she fended off Walkabout by a length, with Call Me PJ an unlucky third, while Nina Carberry steered Black Ace to a debut success under Rules in the www.kilbegganraces.com (Pro/Am) Flat Race.
