< Shamreen completed a course and distance double at Gowran on Wednesday evening when landing the Ladies Day June 18th Fillies Race in good style.
Sent off 4-5 favourite with just two runners in opposition, Dermot Weld's filly confirmed the promise of her maiden win last month as she stayed on strongly to win going away by three and a quarter lengths.< French Blue set the pace with runner-up Siamsaiocht close in behind and although the winner didn't pick up immediately when Pat Smullen got serious, she soon put the race to bed when hitting he front.< Reckless Endeavour (7-2) narrowly held the late challenge of Mizaah in a thrilling finish to the Summer Festival Weekend June 18th & 19th Rated Race.< The Moore Factor took them along in the early stages but had no answers when challenged by Ger Lyons' inmate over a furlong out and the winner kicked clear.

That initiated a 1143-1 treble for McDonogh who went on to land both divisions of the Cat Laughs Goes Racing June 6th Handicap, firstly teaming up with O'Brien again as Zorba The Greek (7-1) touched off Elusive In Paris by half a length before partnering Paul Nolan's Usain (12-1) to victory by the same distance from Romantic in the second instalment.< Monarch landed odds of 8-11 in the opening Irish Stallion Farms E.B.F. Maiden but not without giving his backers a scare first.
Aidan O'Brien's Galileo colt drifted right across the track when Donnacha O'Brien went for the whip under two furlongs out, but had enough in the tank to pull two and a quarter lengths clear of Flying Fairies when straightened up by the stands' side rail.
The Ballydoyle handler completed
