< Fiesolana continued her fine run of form when completing a hat-trick of wins in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Brownstown Stakes at Fairyhouse.
Willie McCreery's four-year-old hasn't looked back since a promising second on her seasonal bow at Tipperary, winning a Curragh handicap before following up in the Group Three Ballyogan Stakes at Leopardstown.
She was forced to shoulder a 3lb penalty for that latest success but travelled sweetly near to the pace for Billy Lee and dug deep close home to repel the strong challenge of red-hot favourite Along Came Casey by a head.< Snow Queen ran on well to fill the places, with the admirable Lily's Angel having to settle for fourth.
Dermot Weld's Simple Love made a successful debut in the opening Irish Stallion Farms EBF Median Auction Maiden.
Sent off a largely unconsidered 14-1 shot under Pat Smullen, the Proud Citizen filly sat in third behind pacesetter Pillow and the more experienced Focussed before battling past the former to score by a length and a quarter.< Lightnin Hopkins (5-1) just managed to reel in the front-running Bronte to claim the Family Day Sunday 14th July Handicap.
Bronte, sporting blinkers for the first time, looked to have slipped the field two furlongs out but the Ger Lyons-trained winner came with a well-timed run under Colin Keane and edged the verdict by half a length.
The La Bucca Restaurants Handicap went the way of 2-1 market leader Three Bells
Pat Downey's gelding just came up short when sent off favourite at Sligo last month but he comfortably went one better in the hands of Joseph O'Brien.
The winner took over the head of affair more than a furlong from the finish and he found plenty for pressure to hold well-backed runner-up Doc Holliday by a length.< Jazz Girl won the New Children's Playground Rated Race for Andrew Oliver and Gary Carroll.
