Review clonmel 12th Jun
Tempo Mac clears the last under Bryan Cooper

< Tempo Mac looks a horse to keep on the right side of having landed the Family Fun Evening At Clonmel Races Handicap Hurdle in really good style at Clonmel.
Gordon Elliott's five-year-old looked desperately unlucky when crashing out at the second last at Kilbeggan twelve days ago and gained deserved compensation here, running out a two and a half length winner.< Sharjah seemed determined to spoil the party when kicking for home before the second last but he had no answer when Tempo Mac and Pleased As Punch arrived on the scene and although those two hit the final flight together, it was the well-backed 11-8 favourite who quickly asserted and he went on to score with a plenty up his sleeve.
Favourite backers were again left smiling when Colms Dream (10-3fav) delivered the goods in the Cluain Meala Handicap Hurdle.< Gold Class loomed large as a big danger in the straight but he found the winner a tough nut to crack and was still three quarters of a length in arrears as they hit the line.< Supreme Benefit opened her account at the fifth time of asking when landing the opening BBQ Evening At Clonmel Races Maiden Hurdle.
Eoin Doyle's 10-1 shot was always travelling well and was full of running when skipping the clear approaching the second last.
Hot favourite Exxaro made a late rally on the run-in, having laboured badly when they set sail for home, but Supreme Benefit always appeared to have matters in hand and was good value for the half a length winning distance.
Doyle completed a double on the evening in the Valley Of Honey Beginners Chase as Corrigs (4-1) made a successful debut over fences, producing a solid round of jumping before pulling seven and a half lengths clear of Valentino's Choice while Damefirth (7-2) was an easy nine and a half length victor of the John Kennedy Motors (Toyota) Clonmel Beginners Chase.
