< Tempo Mac continued Gordon Elliott's excellent run of winners when prevailing in the feature Fast Shipping Bellewstown Handicap Hurdle at the County Meath venue.
Sent off the 9-2 favourite, the five-year-old still had work to do, with top-weight Rawnaq jumping the last in front and going great guns.
Exciting claimer Jack Kennedy got serious on the market leader, though, and he really stuck his neck out to triumph by a neck.< Marchese Marconi had to pull out all the stops to land the odds in the Bellewstown Golf Course Hurdle.
His two opponents allowed Mark Walsh to have his own way in front on the 2-7 favourite but Aminabad took closer order at the third-last and seemed to be moving more sweetly.
When push came to shove, though, Marchese Marconi responded to pressure and saw off Aminabad by two and a half lengths.
There was a blanket finish to the Martinstown Opportunity Handicap Hurdle and Pace And Passion (7-1) marginally came out on top to gain just reward for her recent consistency, while Ted and Ruby Walsh teamed up successfully when Swansea Mile (8-1) left his previous timber exploits behind him in the Woods Financial Services Maiden Hurdle.
Walsh looked like following up when Grangeclare Rosa hit the front between the third-last and penultimate flight in the Western Motors Commercial Vehicles Maiden Hurdle.
However, she was challenged on either side by the time she fluffed the last and trailed home third behind Nautical Nitwit (7-2), who denied Ultimate Horseman by a head.
Chasing didn't go to plan for Ocean Glandore but he showed his appreciation for reverting to the smaller obstacles by landing the Sean Rothwell Construction Handicap Hurdle.< Wandering Aengus looked the likely winner when going for home two out, but he tired late on and Ocean Glandore (10-1) finished with a wet sail to account for another fast finisher in Udo's Choice by half a length.
