Zaidpour impresses at Punchestown
Willie Mullins unearthen another potential star at Punchestown today when his Zaidpour ran out an effortless winner of the albeit uncompetitive Punchestown Annual Membership Maiden Hurdle.
Ridden by Paul Townend, the French bred son of Red Ransom led at the last before stretching clear of his rivals for an effortless win over Katys Girl
Afterwards Mullins revealed "he showed me today what he had been telling me at home!"
He added "I would not be afraid to drop him back in trip as he has plenty of gears. We've plenty of time with him but he may run in the Royal Bond Hurdle at Fairyhouse on November 28 next."
