The Joanna Morgan trained Xsquared under Wayne Lordan, scored his maiden win in the Ratoath Handicap (div 1) at Fairyhouse today, winning with first-time blinkers and from bottom weight.

Morgan was absent but jockey Lordan later reported “the run over hurdles (seventh at Punchestown recently) did a good job on him and helped to sweeten him up.”
