Wrong Answers the Call
Wrong Answer (4/5 into 4/7) justified the confidence of her backers in the Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund Fillies Maiden, landing the odds by a length and three quarters in the hands of Chris Hayes.
The grey daughter of Verglas was a fourth winner this week in the Lady O'Reilly silks. Of course Wrong Answer's trainer, Kevin Prendergast also handled Jakarta Jazz (Naas last Saturday) and Chibcha (Limerick on Wednesday) to win for the owner.
James Kelly, Lady O'Reilly's racing manager, said: "Chris said she hated the surface and she'll now go for the Coolmore race at Naas on June 1st (formerly the Swordlestown). Chris is on fire at the moment." (EM)
