Wordsworth follows script
The Sabrina Harty trained William Wordsworth made all to land a gamble (10/1 in the morning into 4/1) when winning the Martinstown Opportunity Handicap Hurdle at Naas today, under jockey Shane Hassett.
William Wordsworth did jump right at times but Hassett kept the son of Namid going from the last flight, to record a comfortable win, with the rider punching the air in delight passing the post.
Afterwards Harty stated “William Wordsworth has had nearly every problem you can think of – a chipped knee, problems with bleeding and allergies. We had to change his feed and that has made a big difference. I’m delighted for his owner Adrian McAndrew who has been very patient with him.”
