Woodlands Stakes goes for export
Trainer Dandy Nicholls, almost predictably, claimed the five furlong featured Listed Woodlands Stakes at Naas today with Inxile
Inxile, in common with so many of Nicholls’ runners, bounced out smartly and had the race won by halfway, staying on well inside the final furlong.
The trainer, something of a ‘Sprint King’ in England, was not present for the win but winning rider Fran Berry did state “Inxile played up a little in the stalls but got away well but idled a bit in front. He did it well and it was a good performance, despite coming down in class.”
