- What a show from The Sneezer at Gowran

The Sneezer almost halved in price into an S.P. of 15/2 from morning offers and the course specialist ran his rivals ragged in first time blinkers to follow up last year's success in the featured Shamrock Handicap Chase at Gowran.
It was apparent up the straight that the field weren't going to bridge the gap to the Adrian Heskin ridden winner and he stayed on strongly to beat Jack Absolute by twenty lengths.
Tom Nagle trains The Sneezer, now a three time course winner and he said: "He'd been working well enough to run well here.
"Andrew Lynch rode him in Mallow a couple of runs back and said he wanted blinkers.
"They obviously worked as he was just gone a bit clever to the game. He did it well there, he nearly did it too well!" (GC & EM)
