Well-backed Livingston Range (morning 7/1, returned 7/2) gained an overdue second success today, as the Leanne Breen-trained winner landed Dundalk's Christmas Party Nights At Dundalk Handicap (div II) under jockey Mark Enright.
The son of Equiano won on his second career start in August 2020 and while unsuccessful on 19 subsequent starts, today delivered by beating Tynan by three parts of a length.
Newry-based Breen reported "I don't know how much more we will keep going with him but we were happy enough to get one and Mark (Enright) gets on very well with him.
“We might put him away and tip away for the likes of races at Navan where he has got the stiff hill; in a higher grade he might be there to be shot at against horses with more of a turn of foot.”
She added "I have a full yard, thank God, we'll keep going and changed them over a good bit because of the handicapping. We'd love to get some new owners in as well."
