Drop The Dip followed up last week's win at Listowel when taking the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Handicap under Gavin Ryan.
The daughter of Smooth Daddy, 3lb well in under her mandatory penalty, sat in the box seat behind the pace and led under a quarter mile out. Little Keilee threw down a sustained challenge but the winner kept on well to beat the staying-on Perfect Poise by a neck with another short head back to Little Keilee who dropped to third close home.
Tom Gibney, who trains the winner for Alberta Capital Ltd, said: “She handles the ground. We didn't know going down to Listowel whether she would or not but handled it grand there so we figured we were alright ground-wise today.
“She's as solid as a rock. She's been in the first five all season long and you can set your watch by her.
“She was running good races all the time, only being beaten a length-and-a-half or two lengths so for her to get the few wins is great. It's great for her owner, great for me and for her.
“I got kind of greedy this morning and entered her in Navan next week but I don't know if she'll go or not. We'll see how she is.”
