Wellforth from the Caroline Hutchinson stable followed up on his recent win at Limerick after he came home in front of the Irish Mirror Handicap Hurdle under Andrew Lynch.

Winning trainer Hutchinson said afterwards: “He’s a right little horse and unfortunately with all the casualties in the race it helped us.”

“It just looked like his race today and he’s been on the go for so long and he just keeps on improving. Hopefully we will pick up something similar for him we might have a look at Listowel.”
