Well-backed Duaiseoir brings up Bolger/Manning brace
Jim Bolger and Kevin Manning kept their supporters happy as another market-leader from their yard, Duaiseoir (5s into 3s) added to the earlier gains achieved with Majestic Dancer by taking the Gowran Park Golf Club Handicap.
This son of Bachelor Duke is owned by Bolger in partnership with Dave Beirne, an All-Ireland and All-Star winning Wexford hurler of the 60s.
Duaiseoir, a winner at Dundalk back in November and equipped with a tongue-strap and cheek-pieces (for the first time) will keep at this sort of grade for a while and he could be July Sales bound according to his trainer.
The four-year-old's one and a quarter length win here from Camira was bringing up a 15/1 brace for the Coolcullen team.
