Well-Backed Imaalhall Does Business
Imaalhall has been a good servant to connections and the King's Theatre gelding registered win number four when landing a gamble in the Kimpton Vale Handicap Hurdle in the hands of Mark Walsh.
Francis Flood 's five-year-old was a 7/1 shot in the morning and attracted support from 6/1 into 9/2 favouritism on track. In front going to the last, Imaalhaal went on to beat a couple of outsiders in The Flying Dustman and Dreux by two lengths and three parts of a length.
Flood said afterwards: "This horse stays very well, he got a good run through on the inner which was great. We'll look for another handicap over the Christmas. He is big enough to jump a fence and he'll go at that in time." (EM)
