Joyous Moment flashed home to justify good support in the Alkumait Standing At Castlefield Stud Maiden at the Curragh.
The Jack Davison-trained filly went to post a 12/1 shot having traded as big as 28/1 this morning.
Chris Hayes held his mount up in the six furlong contest and angled her to the outside at halfway.
The Holy Roman Emperor filly picked up well inside the final furlong to pip New York Dreams late on for a half length win.
“There seems to be an avalanche of money for everything I run at the minute,” said the winning trainer.
“She's a filly that has just taken patience to get here. She always had speed, she was born with that, but we had to train her with kid gloves last year.
“She's well related, her full-brother True Blue Moon was a good two-year-old. She's tough, she's fast and she'll have a bright future hopefully.
“I'm glad Chris rode her for luck because that suits her and I'm glad he put her into daylight because that also saw her to best effect.
“We'll see how she comes out of it and look at the race program. I don't think black-type would be too far fetched to aim at.
“We've 30 in at the moment and always have room for a few more. If we can keep firing in the winners that's the best advertisement we can have for what we are doing.”
