Well Funded leads Dollys Destination over the last

The Eoin McCarthy-trained Well Funded landed the mares' handicap hurdle at odds of 8/1.
Three times a Flat winner in Britain, the Camelot six-year-old had gained her first win in this sphere at her local course of Listowel last month.
Here, having raced in mid-division, she made progress to lead before the last and was ridden out to beat Dollys Destination by a length and a quarter with Lucy Van Pelt a further three and a quarter lengths back in third.
Winning rider Richie Deegan remarked: “We got away smart but I think she likes being ridden a bit colder and I was happy enough to take my time on her.
“We fancied her but it was in the back of our mind that she had been busy. It’s all worked out well.”
