Dermot Weld was in the winner's enclosure this evening after winning The Abbey Electrical Fillies Maiden with 5/2 shot Anywaysmile in the hands of Pat Smullen.

Winning trainer Weld commented, "She battled really well and she's a nice bred filly, she's from the family of Refuse To Bend. So it was nice to get the winner and she has done her job now."
