Website link to Sixteen Forty Two's Listowel win
Michael Cleere partnered his second winner of the season on the David Wachman trained and owned Sixteen Forty Two in the Clieveragh Handicap at Listowel today.
The son of Rock Of Gibraltar chased the leaders and was produced with a well timed challenge to lead a furlong out, eventually recording a two and a half lengths win over Northern Rocked
Wachman was not present for the win, which was purchased out of Jim Bolger’s yard last November by www.irishracing.com’s new Bloodstock writer Ryan McElligott for just €8,000.
