Warren Beach lands Gowran Park opener
Warren Beach and Billy Lee win the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Median Auction Maiden

Warren Beach benefitted from the application of first-time blinkers to run out an easy winner of the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Median Auction Maiden at Gowran Park.
Billy Lee had the Ken Condon trained three-year-old in front early on and he was always doing enough to repel his challengers up the home straight.
Having raced over further in his initial runs, the drop back in trip combined with the headgear seemed to bring about significant improvement.
Ken Condon, “When Billy rode him the last time he felt there was plenty more in him so it was his call to put the blinkers on. He got him rolling and he galloped well and used himself.
“It’s great to get it done. He’s a horse with a high enough rating and we’ll try and find a conditions race.
“It looked like an improved performance with the blinkers on so we’ll keep them on for the time being.”
