War Of Attrition impresses at Thurles
The Mouse Morris trained War Of Attrition won the feature race of the day, The Thurles Chase under Davy Russell in the colours of Gigginstown House Stud.
Russell was always prominent on the Presenting gelding, improved to lead from 4 out and stayed on well to win by a very easy 8 lengths.
Morris said afterwards, "It's small steps at a time, he's entered in The John Durkan Chase and The Betfair Chase and all of the other usual races. I've nothing in my head at the moment as of where to go I'd prefer to wait until the morning to see how he is. It's one race at a time!"
