The Stewards enquired into possible interference in the closing stages of The Ballsbridge Hurdle involving Ocean Cowboy ridden by Mr Benny Walsh, placed second, Pontiac ridden by Robert Power placed third and Stewards House ridden by Davy Russell placed fourth.

Evidence was heard from the riders concerned.

Having viewed the video of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judge's placings, however they found that Mr Benny Walsh was guilty of careless riding and suspended him for two race days.

The Stewards also enquired into a separate incident in this race after the second last hurdle, involving Mask Of Darkness ridden by Paddy Flood the winner and Ocean Cowboy ridden by Mr Benny Walsh placed second.

Evidence was heard from the riders concerned.

Having viewed the video of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that Mr Benny Walsh was guilty of improper riding and suspended him for seven race days.
