Willie Mullins and Ruby Walsh completed a short-priced double at Tramore as Getareason readily landed prohibitive odds in the Comeragh Veterinary Maiden Hurdle.
The son of Getaway appeared to have very strong claims in this 2m5f event following a fine second at the Galway Festival and gave his supporters few worries.
The 1/5 favourite was sent to the front before halfway by Walsh and settled the issue quickly when going clear two out.
The five-year-old stayed on strongly to easily beat Cusp Of Carabelli by six and a half lengths, with Day Day a further five and a half lengths adrift in third.
Mullins and Walsh were also on the mark earlier with Karl Der Grosse (8/15) in the two-mile maiden hurdle.
Walsh said "He only had to repeat his Galway run to win here. A very good horse of Martin Brassil's beat him at Galway."
