Wachman and Lee in opening surprise at Cork
Girl beats boy - Remember You accounts for Dove Mountain at Cork

Sudirman's defection (unsuitable ground – soft, yielding in places) saw Billy Lee switch to the other David Wachman runner, Remember You (replacing Seamie Heffernan), and that Invincible Spirit filly caused a 12/1 surprise by taking the opening Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund Maiden at Cork.
The Ballydoyle colt, Dove Mountain was expected to take this six furlong contest going off at 8/11. However his effort from the front came up short when he was out-speeded inside the last by Remember You, a length separating the pair at the line.
It's worth noting that Remember You made her debut in the Fairyhouse maiden that went to Wonderfully. She finished seventh then and another 'also ran' from that event, Bluebell (10th) went and won at Limerick last evening.
Wachman said of victor, sporting the silks of his mother-in-law, Mrs Sue Magnier: "She stepped up nicely from her run at Fairyhouse. She travelled well and handled the ground.
"Billy thinks there's a bit more to come."
He also mentioned that Duntle and Hint Of A Tint were his likely representatives at Royal Ascot next week. (AM & EM)
