Voler La Vedette makes it four in a row
Colm Murphy’s filly Voler La Vedette recorded another big win after she landed the I.T.B.A Fillies Scheme EBF Mares Listed Hurdle in the hands of Paul Townend.
Townend sent the 1/3 favourite to the front approaching the last and kept on in good style for a two length win over No One Tells Me
A delighted Murphy said afterwards: “It was nice to get that out of the way. She will have an entry for the Irish Champion Hurdle here at the end of January.”
“Paul said she was always doing too much out there so we’ll bring her back to two miles with a good gallop and that should suit her.”
“The mares race at Chelthenham looks to be the obvious choice she will also get an entry in the Champion Hurdle.”
“The Irish Champion hurdle should make everyone’s mind up as to where to go next.”
