Jim Bolger completed a quick double at the Curragh when saddling Vocal Music to land the Sycamore Lodge Equine Hospital Apprentice Handicap.
The son of Vocalised provided 18-year-old Wexford lad Willie Byrne, who has been with the Coolcullen trainer a few years, with his third winner.
The 10/1 chance was prominent throughout, leading around halfway in this seven furlong event and kept on well under pressure from over a furlong out.
The winning margin was a length and a quarter over Rapture’s Delight, with Daubney’s Dream just half a length further back in third.
Bolger was also on the mark half-an-hour earlier when Luceita made a successful debut under Kevin Manning in the seven-furlong maiden.
