Vino the toast at Limerick
The Daniel Miley trained Vino Vino Cavo landed the Join The Tote Go Racing Club Handicap Hurdle at Limerick today, scoring a second winner of the new season for jockey Donal MacAuley.
The son of King's Theatre led after the second last flight, and although Cabernet Sauvignon soon arrived to challenge under a confident ride from Davy Condon, Vino Vino Cavo battled best to hold the runner-up by half a length.
Afterwards Miley reported “he is a tough and improving gelding and will either have one run before or go straight to the Galway Festival.”
