Victory for Hogan at Limerick
The opening Supermacs Dooradoyle Mares Maiden Hurdle went to the Tom Hogan trained Premier Victory who ran out a comfortable nine lengths winner, under John Cullen.
Previously successful in a bumper at Gowran 11 days ago, the daughter of Winged Love raced prominently throughout, eventually getting to the front before the third last flight, staying on well in the straight.
Afterwards Hogan reported "I thought if Premier Victory jumped, she'd win and she'll go chasing in time. She's a grand big mare and was suited by not having to carry a bumper winner's penalty. That is the owner Ger Gavin's third winner from his three horses."
