Race one at Leopardstown today, the Visit The Circle Lounge Fillies Race, was won by number one Via Ballycroy the even money favourite and one length winner for trainer Michael Halford and jockey Shane Foley.
The daughter of Lawman tracked leaders Talitha Kum before moving past that rival to lead a furlong out. From there Foley kept the filly going for a comfortable length success over Curly Wee
Afterwards Halford stated “that's a consolation for the other day at The Curragh where she lost her chance coming out of stalls (in the Paddy Power Handicap) and got knocked around a bit. This was a lovely race and conditions suited.
“Shane kept it simple on her and we'll try and look for a bit of black-type with her now – six is a good trip for her but she might get seven as she is settling a lot better now.”
