Twomey off the 'cold list', with his first runner!

Featuring on top of the 'Cold List' before ever having a runner seems unfair but Cashel based trainer Paddy Twomey wasted no time removing his name from that list with a 28/1 winner on his first runner, courtesy of Hunting Goddess s win in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Maiden at Dundalk this evening.
Ridden by Bill Lee, the once raced daughter of Galileo moved to the front over a furlong out before staying on gamely for a length and a quarter win over Opa Loca
Afterwards Twomey (based in Athassel House Stud in Golden and known in the breeze-up and pin-hooking business) joked “I saw this morning on the paper that I was top of the cold list, so was determined to get off it!
“I received my license last Tuesday and Hunting Goddess is my first runner - I'm delighted to get a winner. Hunting Goddess is the only horse I have in training and she was a little green today. I don't know where we'll go next, today was the plan.”
