Tweedy blazes a trail for Lordan/Lynam
Front-running tactics appears the key to Tweedy and the half-sister to Duff made all under Wayne Lordan to record her second victory on the polytrack and her third in total this season in the valuable Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Handicap.
The Oasis Dream filly (9/2-5/1) stayed on well in the seven furlongs event to beat Camira by a length and a quarter, with Dash Back a further half length adrift in third.
“You can discard her last run as she didn't get to the front. She's much happier making it, just like her half-brother Duff. The plan is to go for a Listed race at Lingfield in a few weeks time that Duff won two years ago,” said winning trainer Eddie Lynam.
