Pat Flynn's Tudor Manor rewarded favourite backers at 2/1 in the Book Online At Dundalkstadium.com Apprentice Handicap over a mile and a-half in Dundalk.
Robyn Donaghue-Leahy had him tracking throughout and he travelled well to hit the front a quarter of a mile down.
He stayed on stoutly in the final furlong to put runner-up Scott Lang (7/2) away by two and a-quarter lengths. Inchiquin Maid (15/2) was a neck further back in third.
Donaghue-Leahy, in owner Conor Lannen's colours, said: "Very easy.
"I was worried had we gone too steady because he stays well and I thought maybe I would be caught for a bit of foot here.
"He got a nice slip up the false rail and he put it to bed so easy.
"Win or lose, Tudor is an old pet in the yard. I have a very special place in my heart for Tudor (rode first winner on him at Leopardstown in May)."
