Troy game in front for O'Brien
Queen Of Troy produced a game front-running performance to land the Charleville Cheese Race at Cork, under Joseph O'Brien.
The daughter of Storm Cat was soon in front in the six furlong contest. She responded gamely when strongly pressed from over a furlong out. Invincible Ash came through to take second, half a length behind, while Full Of Hope stable-mate of the winner, didn't enjoy the clearest of runs, a short-head back in third.
"She disappointed last time and we're not really sure why," said Aidan O'Brien of the winner.
"She had a few good bits of form in the past and we would love to get some black-type with her."
