Harry Trotter (9/1) and Fergal Lynch came from a seemingly impossible position to win the Yas Handicap at The Curragh today, scoring for trainer David Marnane.
Lynch found himself with no racing room alongside the stands' side rail for much of the second half of the six furlong trip but once in open space inside the final furlong, stayed on strongly to eventually beat Jembatt
Afterwards Marnane said “Harry Trotter is a good little horse and got hampered by a loose horse at Naas but he still ran well.
“I thought at halfway it wasn't going to happen for him but he is very genuine. He improved a good but over the winter and I don't know what we will do with him now, we'll have a think.”
